BMW Remote Control App: Expanding Vehicle Connectivity


Overview

As a Product Designer at BimmerTech, I led the design and development of a mobile application that enhanced remote control functionalities for a wide range of BMW models.

Unlike the official BMW app, our solution provided:

Expanded capabilities
Broader vehicle compatibility
A highly intuitive user experience

The goal was to enable seamless access to advanced car control features, ensuring convenience, security, and ease of use for BMW owners.

My Role & Contributions

As the Lead Product Designer, I was responsible for:

End-to-End UX & UI Design – Crafting an interface that balanced aesthetic appeal with usability.
User Research & Testing – Conducting research to understand user needs and iterating based on feedback.
Feature Definition & Prioritization – Identifying key functionalities and ensuring they were intuitive & accessible.
