Overview
As a 3D designer specializing in the pharmaceutical industry, I was commissioned by my former employer, Connectmedica, to design and render 3D exhibition booths and an entire conference layout for an online pharmaceutical event.
These visualizations were seamlessly integrated into an immersive digital platform, allowing healthcare professionals to explore the virtual conference as if they were attending in person.
Challenge
With the growing shift towards digital experiences, pharmaceutical companies needed a way to effectively engage with healthcare professionals in a virtual space.
The challenge was to design highly realistic, interactive 3D representations of exhibition booths that retained the branding, professionalism, and engagement factor of physical conferences.
Additionally, the virtual space needed to be:
???? Intuitive – Easy to navigate for attendees.
???? Visually Engaging – Realistic and appealing, replicating the feel of a physical event.
???? Brand-Compliant – Each booth had to reflect the unique identity of the respective pharmaceutical company.
My Role & Contributions
As the Lead 3D Designer, I was responsible for:
✅ 3D Booth Design – Conceptualized, designed, and rendered branded 3D exhibition booths for pharmaceutical companies, including Novartis, MSD, and Biogen.
✅ Conference Layout Design – Developed a comprehensive virtual conference space, mapping out booth placements, navigation flow, and user interactions.
✅ Immersive Experience Integration – Created high-resolution 3D assets optimized for the digital platform, ensuring an engaging and interactive environment.
✅ Brand Consistency – Ensured that each booth aligned with branding guidelines, maintaining authenticity and professional appeal.
Design Process
To achieve a seamless virtual conference experience, I followed a structured 3D design workflow:
1️⃣ Research & Brief Analysis
???? Gathered client requirements & branding guidelines.
???? Studied physical exhibition booth designs to replicate key engagement elements.
2️⃣ Concept Development
???? Sketched and modeled initial booth concepts based on brand specifications.
???? Created a layout plan for the entire virtual conference space, ensuring logical flow & accessibility.
3️⃣ 3D Modeling & Rendering
????️ Designed detailed 3D booths with realistic textures, lighting, and branding elements.
???? Rendered high-resolution visuals for seamless integration into the online platform.
4️⃣ Final Adjustments & Integration
???? Collaborated with the development team to ensure optimal rendering for web-based interaction.
✔️ Made refinements based on client feedback, enhancing realism & user experience.
Key Design Features & Solutions
