Overview
As a Product Designer with a strong focus on UX/UI, I occasionally explore motion design to enhance brand storytelling. In this project, I created a series of logo reveal animations using Adobe After Effects, designed for:
✅ Social media branding
✅ Video content intros
✅ Advertising campaigns
✅ Digital presentations
While motion design is not my primary expertise, I see it as a valuable skill that strengthens the user experience and brand identity. These animations were crafted to provide dynamic and engaging logo presentations that elevate the brand’s presence across digital platforms.
Challenge
A well-executed logo animation needs to be:
Versatile – Adaptable for various formats (social media, video intros, ads).
Engaging – Capturing attention within the first few seconds.
Branded – Maintaining consistency with the company’s visual identity.
Additionally, I needed to balance creative motion effects with the brand’s tone, ensuring that animations enhanced recognition without being overwhelming.
My Role & Contributions
As the motion designer for this project, I was responsible for:
✅ Concept Development & Motion Design – Defining animation styles that fit the brand.
✅ Building & Refining Animations in Adobe After Effects – Crafting smooth, high-quality motion sequences.
✅ Experimenting with Motion Techniques – Exploring easing, transitions, and effects to create engaging animations.
✅ Optimizing for Different Platforms – Ensuring animations were scalable and compatible across social media, presentations, and video production.
Design Process
1. Understanding the Brand & Purpose
Researched the brand’s identity, tone, and existing assets.
Defined the energy & mood each animation should convey (elegant, dynamic, or playful).
2. Sketching Motion Concepts
Created storyboards & motion paths to outline animation flow.
Experimented with different transitions, easing effects, and dynamic reveals.
3. Building in After Effects
Developed seamless motion sequences using shape layers, masks, and keyframe animation.
Applied motion blur, opacity fades, and smooth easing for a polished, modern look.
4. Refinement & Testing
Reviewed animations for smooth transitions & clarity.
Adjusted timing, speed, and effects to maximize impact.
Tested in multiple resolutions & aspect ratios for different platforms.
Key Design Features & Solutions
Clean & Modern Motion – Minimal yet engaging animations that enhance brand identity without unnecessary complexity.
Adaptive Timing – Adjusted animation speeds for quick intros and longer sequences.

Final Thoughts
This project reinforced my ability to merge branding with motion design, adding depth, energy, and engagement to digital experiences.
While motion design is not my primary focus as a Product Designer, I see it as a powerful complementary skill that enhances:
UI animations & microinteractions
Digital branding & storytelling
Marketing and promotional assets
This experience also strengthened my After Effects workflow and motion storytelling techniques, which I can leverage in future projects to elevate digital brand experiences.
